Parade starts at 12 on Main Street, and continues over the bridge the back road to the Park.  Festival of events in the park all day, Bands, Entertainment, dusk the city's Hornell's Fireworks concluding the evening 9:30 pm .

October Scare Crows are due out by the 15th,judged on October 26th 2008.

October 25 -Downtown  Merchants "Trick-  or-Treat Night" 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

November 27th- YMCA Turkey Trot (Thanksgiving Day) 9:30 a.m. for the walkers and 10 a m. for runners

November 28: Friday,The day after Thanksgiving black Friday -         “Holiday Aglow” begins on the biggest shopping day of the year. Santa Claus comes to town, lighting of the 26' community Christmas tree, and the opening of Santa Land.
