Apply today and begin your career by making a difference and fulfilling your sense of purpose!\nMake any day a pay day! You work hard for your money, why wait to be paid!\nJOB SUMMARY\nUnder the direction of the Person Supported and Fiscal Intermediary, this position is responsible for providing person directed services and supports as outlined in the person’s Self-Directed Budget, Life Plan, and Staff Action Plan(s).\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nRegulatory and Corporate Compliance\n\n\nEnsure compliance with regulations, agency policies, and procedures.\nEnsure required documentation is complete, accurate, and legible.\nEnsure the agency’s incident management process is followed.\nProvide input in the development and revisions of policies, procedures, and agency forms, as needed.\nEnsure Chain of Command is followed when necessary and instructions are followed as stated in policy and procedures.\n\nFinancial Management\n\n\nAssist with ensuring adherence to the annual budget.\nAssist with ensuring accurate management of person’s funds.\nComplete financial documentation according to procedure.\n\nPerson Centered Services\n\n\nProvide services to the person as planned in their Life Plan, which includes the person’s Staff Action Plan(s) and/or other safeguards and ensure all related documentation is completed.\nAct as an advocate for the person.\nProvide person directed services in personal skill areas.\nComplete assessments and compile baseline data as assigned.\nAssist and support person with community integration.\nRespect the person’s right to privacy and confidentiality by appropriate use of written and verbal communication.\nWork collaboratively with others to ensure the person’s health and well-being.\nReport and document all person’s medical concerns to the appropriate personnel.\nAttend health and medical appointments as assigned.\nMaintain on-going communication with the Fiscal Intermediary\n\nProgram Standard\n\n\nMaintain an environment which encourages and facilitates optimal personal development.\nComplete assigned daily responsibilities.\nAssist in the identification and development of new services and support opportunities that provide quality of life choices.\nComplete documentation and monthly summaries as assigned, if applicable.\nSupplies are the responsibility of the person/family.\nThe use of the EVV (electronic visit verification) will required.\n\nPhysical Plant and Safety\n\n\nEnsure a safe, clean environment, and immediately address areas of concern.\nPractice standard precautions and other appropriate infection control practices.\n\nContacts with Others\n\n\nDevelop and maintain positive relationships both internal and external. This includes family, local businesses, and external service providers.\nEnsure that internal and external written and verbal communications regarding the agency are positive and reflect our mission, vision, and values and respect the person’s right to privacy and confidentiality.\nEnsure concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.\n\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS\n\n\nParticipate in agency initiatives, projects, and trainings.\nMaintain certifications and annual training updates, as required.\nWill be required to use your personal vehicle to transport the person\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\n\n\nThe person in this position exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility.\nThe person in this position functions successfully with general supervision with work checked frequently.\nThe person in this position has the ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize multiple assignments with attention to detail and deadlines in a high volume, stressful environment.\nThe person in this position has the ability to establish effective relationships.\nThe person in this position has the ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. This includes medical, financial, and personal information of staff and the person supported.\nThe person in this position has basic Microsoft Office skills.\nThe person in this position demonstrates knowledge of introductory computer skills.\nThe person in this position has good written and verbal communication skills.\nThe person in this position is able to operate office equipment, computers, and medical equipment.\nIf position requires, possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which the person resides and maintain a safe driving record per agency policy. Additionally, this person must maintain up to date insurance, vehicle registration, vehicle inspection and provide proof thereof as they are required to transport the person in their personal vehicle.\nThe person in this position must be able to be contacted outside of working hours.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n\nHigh School diploma, GED, or an acceptable TABE test score is preferred.\n\nAUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY\nPeople: This position has no direct authority and does not supervise anyone.\nOperations: This position operates under the immediate supervision of the Person Supported and Fiscal Intermediary and is responsible for providing person directed services and following standard agency policy and procedures.\nBudget: This position must adhere to expense guidelines and programs.\nNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.\nHOW TO APPLY:     Please apply through our Website: http://thearcAS.org\nSALARY:                 Wages are based off the discretion of the person being supported. Salary ranges from $16.00-$31.00 per hour.\n
