
2022 Hornell 4th of July Events
Parade – Starts at Noon, to view line up along Seneca Street starting at the Community Bank, and then Main Street to Bank Street
Anyone who whishes to be in the parade please meet at Community Bank Parking Lot 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM
Veteran’s Memorial Park – From Noon to 10:00 PM
City Pool – Will be ran by the Hornell YMCA and will be open from Noon – 4:00PM, it is Free for YMCA Members, .75 for Hornell Residents, $1.50 for Non-Residents per entry and $2.00 for an all day pass regardless of residency.
Live Music – Times may be off a bit to allow change over
Noon to 1:00 – Iro Cosmic
1:30 – 3:30 – Matt Burns
4:30 – 6:30 – Unoriginal Gravity
7:00 – 10:00 – Public Water Supply
Free Kids Activities
- These listed activates are free of charge and are ran by volunteers in hopes to receive donations for their church, non-profit, cause, etc.
- Donations are appreciated but NOT required
- End Zone Football Game – Hornell YMCA
- 40′ Obstacle Course – Hornell Bible Church
- Two Lane Slide – Voss Studio’s
- Paw Patrol Bouncer – PRC of the Valley
- Potters, Sand Art, Tattoo’s, Bird Feeder kits (need group to run this)

Cruize’n Time Car Show – 9:00AM – 1:00PM registration, Show 1:00 – 4:00PM, Awards at 4:00PM, Allowing for the car’s participating to take part in the parade. For morning information contact Cruize’n Time on their facebook page.
Fireworks – After a full day of Independence Day Celebrations, we will end the night with fireworks Show at 10:00 PM
Craft & Food Vendors: Any vendor who would like an application to set up at the park, please send HPG an email at hornellpartners@gmail.com, or by calling 607-324-9786 to set up a day and time for you to pick up the application or turn yours in if you would like to do so in person, you can also mail them to:

Volunteers:
This event is not possible without volunteers! If you are or know a Hornell High School incoming Senior or Honor Student who is required to get volunteer hours next year, they are authorized to get them done with HPG at the 4th of July Celebration. Please contact HPG by email hornellpartners@gmail.com or calling 607-324-9786. Any other school that would like to allow students to get their hours down at this event please contact HPG so they can start to take names.
Volunteers needed:
Sunday- July 3rd – Set up crews, 12:00PM – 6:00PM – may go later
Monday July 4th Parade – 1045AM – 1230PM – Traffic People
Monday 4th of July at the Park** Please if you do all day, bring a lunch or funds to eat.
Set up crew – 7:00AM – 1:00PM
Event Crew – 12:30PM -3:30PM
Event Crew – 3:00PM -6:30PM
Event Crew – 6:00PM – 9:00PM
Clean up crew show at 9:00PM at the HPG Tent — at 10:00PM everyone can stop an enjoy the fireworks, then the real clean up starts as the park clears out
This is a kid friendly event and includes Prohibited Items:
Yard Sale items, pets (except gold fish games), firearms, knives (except for kitchen cutlery/Fishing), swords, unsafe articles, pea shooters, snappers, tire bats, caps, fireworks, satanic paraphernalia, whips, foul smelling spray, drug paraphernalia, anything deemed offensive, including but not limited to vulgarness, profanity/swear words, sexual, hate symbols, racist, threatening etc. will not be permitted on the premises, or on sale in the exhibit area.
No items such as clothing, hats, flags with profanity, confederate flags, BLM, etc. Other objectionable items will not be permitted under the discretion of HPG
