12th Annual Wildflower Festival

Hornell Partners for Growth (HPG) is proud to announce the return of the 12th Annual Wildflower Festival, taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Union Square Park in downtown Hornell.

This free, family-friendly event continues to grow each year and celebrates community, creativity, and the arrival of spring with a full afternoon of live music, children’s activities, vendors, and food.

Festivalgoers can enjoy live performances throughout the day:

🎨 Free Family Activities

The Wildflower Festival is designed with families in mind, offering a variety of free activities for children, including:

Free face painting and airbrush tattoos by Badger and Butterfly Studios, Complimentary terra cotta pots for kids to paint, Free wildflower seeds for children to plant and take home. These hands-on activities are intended to inspire creativity and encourage a love for nature and community.

🍗 Community Chicken BBQ Fundraiser

A special addition to this year’s festival is the first-ever Stearns Chicken BBQ fundraiser, hosted in partnership with Catholic Charities, this is their FIRST Chicken BBQ at the Hornell Wildflower Festival! Presale tickets are available for just $15. Be sure to plan on grabbing your family a delicious dinner that day.

Proceeds from the BBQ will support Catholic Charities Emergency Services and their vital food kitchen programs serving the communities of Bath and Hornell.

🌼 Supporting Local & Celebrating Community

The festival will also feature a variety of local craft vendors, community organizations, and informational booths, helping to connect residents with resources while supporting small businesses and artisans.
