Hornell SWAP

We have gotten a lot of donations but could still use the following:
Coats (adult and children)
Men’s pants
Boys clothing
Girls clothing (4t and up)
All donations can be brought to 406 Canisteo St. between now and Saturday.
Please do NOT open front door to bring donations inside. Leave them outside at the front or if it’s raining you can always leave them at the side entrance on Van Scoter St under the portico.
If you need assistance unloading, please ring the bell and I should be available all day today to help (except from 1-3pm).

Q: What is the SWAP all about?
A: It’s a way to get gently used items into the hands of people who can use them…
Q: What’s it cost?
A: NOTHING! Everything is 100% free thanks to the generous donations of community members and businesses.
Q: Are there income requirements?
A: Nope. This is for everyone regardless of socioeconomic status.
Q: Do you need volunteers?
A: YES! If you could spare a few hours on Friday / Saturday (Ill post exact times later) to help me set up it would be appreciated.
Q: When is it?
A: Sunday October 18th from 12-4pm
Q: Are there limits on what I can take?
A: No. We will provide shopping bags. Take what you can use and have fun!
Q: What’s the catch?
A: There’s one ask… that resellers do not use this as an opportunity to stock up. Everything here has been donated with the intent to remain free for the community. We kindly ask you to keep that in mind. This is a scout’s honor kind of thing here.
Q: Will you be doing this regularly?
A: It’s a TON of work but if the interest is there and it’s well attended we may make this a semi-annual thing.
Q: Do I have to live in Hornell to attend?
A: No. All are welcome!
